From its exclusive local West Tennessee domicile comes this very attractive Mossberg model 500A in a law enforcement configuration. From its K150000 range serial number, it was manufactured in 1987, well before the word, Tactical, became fashionable. Manufacturer was O.F. Mossberg & Sons of New Haven, CT. Type is pump or slide action shotgun. Construction is steel barrel, magazine tube, bolt, trigger, and internal parts; polymer trigger group housing and safety button; alloy receiver; and hardwood buttstock and forend. Chambering is 12 gauge, 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch interchangeably. Barrel is 20 inch plain, with a .705 Modified Tru Choke tube. Sight is red dot steel anchored bead sight, and this shotgun shoots center aim at 25 yards on a 6 o’clock hold. Heat shield is Mossberg factory, with replacement matching screws. Magazine holds 7 rounds of 2 3/4 inch shells, or 6 rounds of 3 inch, so 7+1 fully loaded capacity on 2 3/4 inch. Forend is serrated corn cob police type. Receiver is serrated top, and is not drilled for a scope base like its descendants. Trigger is .285 smooth faced steel, and this 500A pulls at 4 3/4 pounds with moderate felt creep. Buttstock length of pull measures 14 inches from the trigger face to the end of the 1 inch brown factory recoil pad. Stock and barrel lug have QD blue steel sling swivels. Finish is blued steel, glossy black anodized receiver, and semi gloss wood. Surface detractions are moderate, principally faint edge wear on the receiver, operation finish wear to the slide arms and magazine tube, and light scouring on the buttstock. We rate this Mossberg as Very Good, 80 to 85 percent vicinity, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are bright and clean. This shotgun has been loaded and unloaded more than it has been fired. To our personal knowledge, it has been fired fewer than 500 rounds, mostly with High Powered 2 3/4 inch shells. This shotgun is important because it laid the groundwork for introduction of the 590 series in 1987. We’re offering it for only $ 359.00. Not transferable to civilian residents of New York City. Any ammunition or personnel in our photos are Not included.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
