This pistol is in mint condition. It is the Beretta 3032 compact auto chambered in the highly effective .32 ACP caliber. It has all its papers, extra magazine, and unopened California Certified Lock. The only hint of a blemish anywhere are two or three faint inconspicuous scours on the edges of the grip panels. Factory specs are single- and double-action semi-auto pistol; caliber .32 ACP; barrel length 2.4 inches; capacity 7 + 1; frame mounted safety for right-handed shooters only; weight 15.8 oz empty; finish Inox Stainless Steel with alloy frame. Even though the Tomcat is a relatively recent phenomenon, it is thoroughly traditional Beretta with a comfortable feel and balance second to nobody in this industry. Its only area where it could stand improvement, according to our photographer, is its 1.072 average maximum width. Our photographer himself, however, is over maximum width. The beauty thing, as he says, about the Tomcat is its flip-up barrel design. A person need not be a milkmaid or milk man to operate the slide. A person doesn't have to; indeed, a person should not manually operate the slide because that is the way to disassemble this pistol, not a problem; but a person will have to read the instruction manual to get it back together. This pistol, like its smaller siblings the 950 and 21, loads and unloads by flipping up the barrel with the lever on the left side of the frame. This is a local pistol briefly owned but never actually carried by one of our best customers from neighboring Hardeman County, Tennessee. Danny traded it in on a Ruger Mark III .22.
