The Receiver has the C Sharps Patent Sept 12th, 1848 markings on the left side and Excellent sharps and Lawrence markings on the lockplate right side. Has inspector initials on the barrel and saddle ring E.A.W. Serial# C13356 Co B 10th Indiana Volunteer Cavalry. Metal overall has an aged grey brown patina finish with some fine pitting in areas.
