This rifle is designed for patched round ball only. Browned barrel is a 1:65 twist and is 34 5/8" in length. Barrel is octagonal and 1' across the flats. This is a sidelock percussion model that takes the CCI #11 caps. Stock is curly maple. Rear sight is reproduction period buckhorn and front sight is the silver blade. Overall length of this rifle is 51 1/4' and weighs 9.9 pounds. It has a full length barrel tang extending the length of the pistol grip for added strength in this relatively weak area. Comes with original box, all paperwork, an additional synthetic power rod with .54 cal. jag and a NIB Lee double cavity round ball mold .530. Must sacrifice at $800.
