Here is a very nice, very unusual Case 6254 Trapper in a specialty configuration with a fork instead of a flesh blade. The California Clip main blade is standard. It is a standard size trapper, 4 1/4 inches overall length closed, with slightly above average thickness. This knife has never been sharpened, but it has minimal staining and spotting that affect less than 10 percent of the blade and fork surfaces, mostly in the tang areas, so we rate it as Excellent finishwise. Picking patterns on the Red Bone handle panels are symmetrical, and their thickness is symmetrical. Obverse panel is a bit lighter than the reverse, so this may have been a display knife.
