Manufacturer was Akkar Silah Sanayi Ltd. of Istanbul, Republic of Turkey. Importer was Samco Global Arms, Inc. / SGAI of Miami, the company that imported Charles Daly Shotguns from 2010 until 2015, when the importer bankrupted. From its 10 serial number prefix, it was manufactured in 2010. Action is Beretta AL type gas operated semi automatic shotgun with left handed orientation. Construction is steel barrel, bolt, trigger, magazine assembly, levers, internal parts, and sling studs, built into a light weight alloy receiver with polymer stock, forend, and trigger housing assembly. Chambering is 12 gauge, 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch shells interchangeably. Barrel is 28 inch with muzzle threaded for standard Rem-choke tubes. Bore is standard diameter, non back bored, and chrome lined. Tube furnished is .705 diameter Modified, 3 slash marks. The tube will accommodate steel shot and slugs, but is not optimal for slugs. Sight system is .272 width serrated top, 8 post ventilated rib, that sits .22 inch above the barrel at the lug. Front sight is standard brass bead that mates with the serrated receiver top. Magazine tube is 14 inch open end with spring retainer, holds 5 rounds of 2 3/4 inch or 4 rounds of 3 inch 12 gauge shells interchangeably, 5 + 1 fully loaded capacity without any magazine adapter. Operators of Italian shotguns and their clones often figure out how to rest a ghost round on the shell carrier. The .240 smooth faced trigger pulls single stage at 7 pounds vicinity with substantial felt creep but minimal overtravel. Safety is push button left handed shooter, gunsmith reversible, behind the trigger. Forend is semi beavertail synthetic, with lateral gas ports and checkered panels. Buttstock is field type. Length of pull is 13 7/8 inches from the trigger face to the end of the 3/4 inch recoil pad. Stock drop is standard 1 1/2 at comb and 2 1/2 inches at the heel, laterally straight with no cant or cast. Stock has molded checker surface laterals on the pistol grip. Weight empty is 6 pounds, 3 ounces, with center of gravity at the chamber. Finish is black: matte blued barrel and magazine tube, with flat black anodized receiver; black coated bolt and shell carrier; black graphite based stock and forend; and with black polymer trigger group assembly. Marking is electronically engraved on the barrel and inked on the receiver, with roll stamped serial number that usually affects the finish next to it. Surface detractions are negligible. We rate this Akkar as Excellent Condition, perhaps Near Mint, 95 percent vicinity by our estimate, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves.
