It comes in the desirable 38-40 WCF caliber. This rifle has very nice wood with a lot of figure in it. It must have been reblued years ago. The bore is shiny, but I think it was polished (lands and grooves are not as deep as I think they should be). I am not a Winchester collector, so I don't have anything else to compare it with. Mechanically excellent and very tight. Please see pictures. I try to take as many pictures as possible so you know what you are buying.
