REDUCED This Smith & Wesson Airweight was built in 1962 but appears to be brand new. It is a .38 Special, 2",J frame with a semi-square butt. It has fixed sights a serratted trigger and a curved knurled hammer. The grips are faux MOP but the original nickel finish is perfect. The aftermarket grip panels reduce this from a 100& condition to a 98% condition The slightly longer semi-square butt makes this a revolver that is more easily fired accurately with one hand. The bore is fine, with sharp lands and grooves. The mechanics are 100%, the cylinder locking up tightly. My guess is that this revolver was bought and put away in a drawer in 1962 and never fired.
Don't delay, The Standard Catalog of Firearms lists this revolver in ths condition at $775.
