This listing is for a complete trigger assembly to fit Investarm traditional Hawken type percussion rifles that were imported in substantial numbers by Navy Arms and Lyman during the 1980s. This trigger assembly will not fit any other rifle that we know of besides an Investarm. It will Not fit a Thompson / Center; will not fit a CVA, and will not fit the control lever of a 1937 Otis Elevator. It will only fit Investarm Hawken type rifles like the one showing in one or two of our photos, from whence it came, and that is no longer for sale as a unit. Parent rifle to this trigger assembly system was manufactured in 1984. This assembly is excellent, both finishwise and mechanically. It is adjustable, and is still on its original factory setting of 2 1/4 pounds with the set trigger engaged, or 5 1/2 pounds on a straight pull. Settings may vary according to the hammer assembly a person pairs it with, but the tension is adjustable. This trigger group and the parent rifle have not seen very much actual shooting, because the owner bored his scope mount screw holes all the way into the rifle’s bore. Its mechanical system was unaffected, though. Replacement parts like this trigger assembly are never easy to come by.
