This vintage Bausch & Lomb Rifle Scope bears the model number on its lens cover strap of all places. Scope serial number is HU 4900 range, and we estimate that it was manufactured around 1950. This fine scope comes to us from the estate of a meticulous chemical engineer who helped shepherd Tennessee and Mississippi Farmers through the dangerous era of the 1950s through the 1980s, and it is as well preserved as any of his other equipment. This scope came to us mounted on an FN 98 Custom Mauser with 4 digit serial numbers, late 1940s action manufacture, and its adjustments are fully operable and are on the scope mounts themselves. We believe that the entire assembly, from the mounts to the leather strap, is 100% Rochester NY Bausch & Lomb. Its only surface detractions are a few faint whitened areas, some on the eyepiece bell from leather contact, and some recoil contact on the under side of the 1 inch tube from recoil. Lenses, optics, and mechanics are all excellent on this fine old scope. It should fit any 98 action rifle well enough; note that the rear mount is side mounted onto the receiver. Please note that the mount screws are taped into the bases with scotch tape, a precaution we learned to take many years ago to avoid losing screws, the mounts are not at all discolored. Reticle is fine crosshair; objective lens measures 41mm; eyepiece 30mm; overall length 12 1/8 inches. We’re offering it for only $ 219.95.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
