This listing is a very cool Steyr Scout rifle chambered in .308 Winchester. The Scout rifle concept was pioneered by the iconic Jeff Cooper many years ago. He wanted to design the ultimate "do anything, go anywhere, and survive" rifle. To this day, the Steyr Scout is the only mass produced scout rifle that meets ALL of Cooper's parameters for the design. It features an integral bipod, integral folding flip up sights, a two position magazine catch for single feeding, a spare mag recess in the stock, and a locking bolt. Lastly, it features a forward mounted optic, the signature feature of the design. The forward mounted optic was designed to balance the ability to place precise shots against keeping the ability to maintain a wide field of view for defensive purposes. This particular rifle has a fluted barrel with a shiny bore. An excellent Leupold M8 2.5x extended eye relief scope is mounted above the barrel in proper scout rifle fashion. This rifle comes with two magazines but no factory box or papers.

Warranty:
All new firearms, new NFA items, and new accessories are warrantied by their manufacturer. All items have a 3 calendar day inspection period beginning on the day of delivery. Firearms and NFA items must be inspected at the dealer's location. If at any time during the inspection period the firearm or NFA item is taken off the dealer's premises, the inspection period ends. All items must remain unused during the inspection period.
Returns:
In the event that an item cannot be delivered to the purchaser, there is a 25% restocking fee on all returned firearms and accessories. There is a 40% restocking fee on all returned NFA items.
