Description: Up for action is my .17 cal Thompson Condender. It was only used on a few hunts and as the pictures show it is in excellent condition. Here are the specs.

Caliber: .17 HMR. Action: Single shot break-open design. Barrel: Interchangeable by means of a removable barrel/frame hinge pin. Barrel can be changed from .17 to .50 cal muzzle loader. Button rifled. Drilled and tapped for T/C scope mounts. Trigger: Adjustable for over travel. Hammer: Wide grooves in hammer spur for positive grip. Equipped with external manual firing pin selector. Barrel Length: 23." Weight: 5.4 pounds. Length: 36.75" with 23" barrel. Finish: Blued steel. Safety: Patented automatic hammer block with bolt interlock. Sights: None; barrel drilled and tapped for scope mounts (Attached is a 3 x 9 Simmons, Prohunter scope)

It features readily interchangeable 23" barrels, enabling the shooter to select from 9 different cartridge options; from .17 HMR, up to 6.8 Rem or .45/.70 Gov’t. In addition, all of the 16-1/4" and 21" barrels made for the old style Contender will readily fit the new G2™ frame. The high comb on the buttstock allows the shooter’s eye to be in perfect alignment when using a scope.
