This rifle is also listed on the other big gun auction website {GB}, and as you can see I have allot of good feedback with them, but I am trying to build it up here as well. Eventually I would like to leave the other site altogether as I don't like being turned into a tax collector, and I also don't like this new "compliance fee" they have suddenly sprung on us. Now on to the listing. I have many detailed pictures of this rifle, you can either email me and I can send them to you as an attachment, or you can view them over at that other gun auction website {GB}. An acquaintance bought this rifle years ago after he had booked a hunt in Tanzania. He had intended to hunt Cape Buffalo. However before the hunt, he suffered a heart attack, and underwent emergency quadruple bypass surgery. His surgeon informed him he could not shoot high powered magnum rifles anymore, so the hunt was postponed and changed to plains game. He took his 30-06 instead. The rifle has sat in his safe, unfired all these years. he finally sold it to me a couple of years ago when convinced myself to go to Alaska to hunt brown bear and trophy moose. At my age and health, if it hasn't happened by now, it's never going to happen, so I am offering this beautiful, unfired Remington 700 Classic to someone who will actually use it. There is no bluing loss, the diamond cut on the stock are sharp and not worn, the jeweling on the bolt is vivid as the day it left the factory, on and on, you get the idea. only things missing is the box and a new owner. Look at the pictures. Just gorgeous. 24 inch barrel. The original owner had a Redfield base attached {I kept the Leupold scope and rings}. There are several boxes of ammo I will be listing soon for this rifle if you are interested in buying it, let me know, maybe we could work something out {Nosler ammo}.
