Description: Here is a very attractive, 'way above average complete set of 90% Silver Washington Quarter, 1932 through 1964. They are in a moderately worn deluxe grade Whitman Holder that is copyrighted 1960 and whose dates end with the 1960D. Since there were nine more slots, the collector filled the final spot with a 1965 clad quarter. A few of the specimens may have been cleaned, for example the 1934-D, 1936-D and 1939-S. These have, if that is true, developed toning since that time. All three of the 1932 Quarters have legible letter and full rims, even the mottos are legible. Details are sufficiently sharp on the remaining eighteen specimens on the first page, 1932 – 1940D, that we classify them all at least Very Fine. 1934, 1938, and 1940 are above that, and we detect mint luster on these three. For the coins on the second page, 1940-S through 1947-D, we classify 1940-S, 1942-D, 1943-D, 1944-D, 1945-D, 1946-D and 1946-S as Very Fine; the others rate Extremely Fine to AU on our call, since we detect mint luster on six or eight of them. 1946-D and S have been cleaned for sure. On the third page, only 1949, 1950, 1952-S, 1953, and 1953-S lak mint luster. 1953 and 1953-S appear cleaned. On the fourth and final page 1955 – 1965, only 1955-D shows any significant contact scouring. 1964 has brown toning on its date area, but all specimens on that last page besides the 55-D exhibit mint luster. We will try and include sufficient photos so that prospective buyers can at least check our grading. This is an exceptionally nice set. We're offering it, the exact coins in the photos, for only $ 569.95 Prices are based on a silver spot price on the Comex exchange of $40.00 or less per ounce. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
