HG5633 From its A700,000 range serial number, this Smith & Wesson model 559 was manufactured in President Reagan’s Inaugural Year of 1981. This is a relatively rare pistol, with production of only 10,000 units between 1980 and 1983. We never got many of these back when they were in production in the early 80s, and we rarely run across them. This pistol in the 1980s was the premiere steel frame Wonder Nine, unique for U.S. Production. This pistol comes with one of its original steel plate 14 shot magazines, and we are also including a current production stainless bodied 15 rounder. Barrel is 4 inch steel; weight empty 41 ounces; traditional double action semi-auto pistol with left side / right-hand shooter decocking safety; firing pin safety and magazine safety; gloss checkered polymer factory grips; .365 smooth face blue steel combat trigger with matching .265 serrated hammer; windage and elevation adjustable rear sights protected by Smith & Wesson’s distinctive 39/59 series sight shoulders; gloss serrated polymer mainspring housing and serrated steel front strap; full length steel guide rod. This specimen is a well tended department pistol. Surface detractions only amount to edge whitening and occasional finish toning. We rate it as Very Good, close to Excellent, 85 percent range by our estimate. Photos, at any right, ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. It is certainly excellent mechanically. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. We estimate it has been fired between 1000 and 1500 rounds. We are including a current production factory blue box along with the extra magazine. Own this fine, eminently serviceable and collectable Smith & Wesson 559 Adjustable, for only $ 389.00.
For civilian buyers in New York where pre-ban magazines are permitted, freight paid but no new production15 rounder. For civilian buyers in jurisdictions with 10 to 12 round magazine capacity restrictions, one new10 round magazine, either factory or Mec-Gar, instead of the two hi-caps. Not transferable to civilians in California, Massachusetts, or the District of Colombia.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
