Mossberg’s original 800 series rifles earned our respect in the 1970s. Savaged upstaged them for a few years with their 110 series, but now Mossberg is back and better than ever with that company’s 4x4 series. Mossberg 4X4 rifles, writes the factory, feature free-floating, 24" button-rifled fluted barrels that provide exceptional out of the box accuracy. All 4X4 models feature a modern contoured design, a Monte Carlo cheek piece provides comfortable sightlines with use of a scope. The tapered forend is checkered for firm grip and is vented to dissipate barrel heat. The slim line pistol grip and cushioned recoil pad provide superior shooting comfort. All the 4x4 rifles come with Mossberg’s LBA / Lightning Bolt Action set trigger system for crisp light and effective trigger pull. This specimen of the 4x4 is top of the line, Weather Impervious Matte Nickel Mossberg Marine Coat metal parts, all packaged in an equally weather resistant, incredibly strong gray laminate stock that features pforend porting, swivel studs, and 1 inch thick magnum grade factory recoil pad. Barrel is 24 inch fluted medium contour, with factory muzzle brake that extends the barrel’s length by 2 inches. Weaver #61 Front and #36 rear bases are included, matching nickel plated. Weight empty is a well balanced 7 1/2 pounds. 4x4 rifles have detachable box magazines, and capacity on this one it 3+1 rounds of .300 Winchester Magnum caliber ammunition. This particular 4x4 was never out of Mossberg Corporate custody until we got it. It is a factory demo, one of Mossberg’s showgirls at trade shows. It has never been fired since it left the factory, and has never had a 4473 form executed on it. This rifle comes with a 6 month factory warranty, and with its papers and factory cable lock. Surface detractions are minimal, no more than ordinary shelf wear that new rifles get being handled in retail stores like ours. All we detect are some tiny scours on the forend area and buttstock area comb, with operation buffing to the bolt surface. We rate it as Excellent and Unfired, perhaps even Near Mint in Box. Replacement pricing on Mossberg’s Home site is $673.00 on this rifle. We’re offering it, however, for only $ 379.00. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> $20 flat fee lower 48 states; $60 Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, UPS Ground with full insurance coverage. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
