This Walther PPK was produced about 1940. It has the Imperial proofmark and a serial number followed by a K. As a mark of SS use has the S/N Stanped on the frame, on the slide in line with the bore forward of the ejector port and on the botton of the finger-extention magazine. A second flat bottom, Mauser Banner magazine is in the forward magazine pouch. The black AKAH holster is fitted for carry on a 2 inch leather belt. This PPK was used on the Russian front as can be seen fron the three tiny cracks in the brown grip. The Safety lever is of course of the 60 degree sort and still reliably drops the hammer. The load chamer indicator also still works relibly. The finish is about 95%, amazing for a handgun that served on the most harsh enviorment of the war. The price is negotable.
