Here is a veteran 500 Mossberg Riot Shotgun manufactured some time in the Early 1990s by our estimate from its L718000 range serial number. Barrel is 3 inch chambered, 18 1/2 inch factory Cylinder Bore and so marked. Finish is polished blue steel on the barrel, magazine tube, slide assembly, bolt assembly, carrier mechanism and smooth faced combat trigger. Trigger group is a polymer housing as the 500s have been since the 1960s, and the southpaw-friendly classic Mossberg top tang safety button is polymer as well. Receiver is glossy finished lightweight alloy, and that is responsible for this Model 500-A’s relatively light weight of 6 3/4 pounds. Buttstock and forend are high impact black polymer, serrated Corncob forend and smooth finished 14 inch buttstock with 1 inch factory recoil pad. Capacity is 5 + 1 rounds of 2 3/4 inch shells or 4 + 1 rounds of 3 inch. This particular 500 A has been on duty with a banking company’s private security detail for two decades, and it has been carried more than it has been fired. From the only-moderate whitening to its double steel slide arms and magazine tube, we estimate this Mossberg has been fired no more than 300 or 400 rounds, no rounds at all for a Mossberg, whose longevity should be at least 50,000 to 100,000 rounds like a good old Ford. Surface scouring is moderate on its surfaces, and we estimate that 30 percent of the finish is affected by handling and storage wear. We rate it as Very Good finishwise, but Photos should suffice for prospective owners to judge finish grade for themselves. Current replacement pricing on Mossberg 500 Home Security variants that are descendants of this one ranges from $350 on up in our area. We’re offering this one, however, for only $ 219.95.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges.
