Beautiful blue and nice color case hardening on the original Colt manufactured 1st Generation frame, serial is 264,xxx from 1905. Matching numbers on the main frame and the rear grip strap , the front grip strap is 1st generation but a different number. Christys manufactured their own barrels and cylinders, and this gun has these parts on it. They also tuned a tightened the cylinder and timing to make the gun more accurate. My master gunsmith has inspected this revolver and said it is the tightest cylinder lockup and best timing he has ever seen on a Colt SAA! The grip are real stag.
