(308WIN) Obermyer stainless 5r barrel M24 contour and length. M24 twist rate. bedded by GAP. Attn!Receiver top drilled for #8 screws. M24 spec-modified Redfield palma rear iron-sight bracket specially modified per spec for fitting next to mounted scope rings. HS stock has slim Remington brand name buttpad like issue guns. Black Hawk sling swivels. Rifle is fitted with (steel) SunnyHill tactical M700LA bttm metal. This is spec as is Dakota Arms brand bottom metal seen on other guns. "7.62 NATO" marking on barrel/”U.S." marking over serial number. Bolt is matched to receiver with last four serial digits. Out on the barrel is mounted a Redfield posa-base-"175-A1." This posa-base is about 3/32" o/a longer than actual M24 issue Redfield bigbore base but height is the same as the bigbore and overall appearance wise it is also very similar. The hole spacing is the same as either the issue redfiled bigbore or later issue RPA tracker. Bassically if you have either of the actual issue bases listed above or repros of such, both should fit the barrel as well. This scope is of the origional mk4 line, the origional mk4s are better built and more expensive than the later rebranded variable power mk4s. Scope comes with all associated papers/manual,cams for 223, 308WIN, 30-06, 300WIN,etc. allen key for cams, 2" sun shade, Butler Creek flip caps. I paid GAP $1200 for scope. They run around $1300. If you were wanting to mount the newer issue Leupold 2pc mk4 base and m4 rings, or another type, I could sell just the scope and rifle (w/o Badger Ord rings and base) for $3900 total. Note: if wishing to use another brand base or 2pc base base set, make sure the bases are drilled for #8 screws. Any decent gunsmith should also be able to drill your bases for #8s screws for a small fee. They would also get you the correct screws to go with. Shipping $65 for complete package.
