LG0239 Even though F.I.E. was always a cheap gun importer, some of their items have enough age to be considered collectable. The Brazilian shotguns have always given excellent service, and this is a very traditional looking shotgun like the old cannon breech nitros with lightweight simplicity. This is an F.I.E. SB-2 second type manufactured in Brazil by ERA. It is solid mechanically, and has normal use scuffing, scouring, and scratching. This one is innovative for its trigger guard doubleing as a breech lever. Even though it only rates around 70 percent finishwise, it is mechanically sound. Its bore and chamber are bright and clean, and there is only two lightly pitted places, 3 inches forward of the chamber and about 10 inches back of the muzzle. Buttstock has a half inch corner crack that shows no sign of separation on the under side back of the tang. Barrel is 28 inch, 2 ¾ inch chamber, .688 Full Choke.
