Factory specs show 1,000 feet per second muzzle velocity and an impressive 117 foot pounds of muzzle energy from a 20 inch barreled rifle. From personal experience, this round has an effective range of up to 10 yards, nothing to sneeze at, even though there will be pattern gaps at that distance. Any ammunition can cause serious injury or death; after all, that is what it is designed to do. We know of no cases where these have consistently cycled in semi-auto firearms, and a person should clean his firearm's barrel thoroughly, not only for lead residue but for plastic residue to guard against barrel or chamber damage after using these. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
