S. Hohman [ ARMS CRAFTER AND CUSTOM CASE MAKER IN OAK VIEW CALIFORNIA ]. It has a Winchester displayed on the inside of the case as shown in photo's. The case came with a Winchester model 42 I had acquired. It looks as it could accommodate a model 12 also but have not tried one. The barrel compartment 27 1/2" long. The compartment for the buttstock and receiver "IMPORTANT" measure your gun from the front of the trigger guard to the outside edge of the butt. If it is more than 15 1/8 inches it will not fit. You can see in the photo's that the case is contoured where the bottom of the receiver and front of the trigger guard go. one photo with the ruler shows the distance for front of trigger guard to rear of stock and the other from front of trigger guard to end of receiver distance.
