From its only home atop a Remington 742 Woodsmaster Rifle comes this serviceable, attractive set of Kwik Site, see through Scope Mounts for the classic Remington 742 Auto Rifles. These also fit any Remington Rifles that are Model Four, Six, 7400, 760, 7600, and 750 current production rifles. They will not fit a Remington 700, or a Marlin 336, or the gunnery sights of a 1917 Fokker Triplane. They will only fit Remington Semi-Auto or Pump Action rifles we have named above manufactured from about 1960 until the present. This set came to us on a 1960s production 742 Remington that housed a circa 1990 Simmons 3x9x50 Scope, so we estimate these were manufactured in the late 1980s. Surface detractions are moderate, with faint amounts of case contact whitening on some of their edges and sides. We rate them as Very Good, 85 percent vicinity, but photos ought to suffice for our shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Screw Slot stress is only moderate, as the photos show. These mounts have never been bent or misused, and they are eminently serviceable.
