Here is a very nice specimen of the Smith & Wesson Governor, Product Code 162410, that came to us through S&W Channels. It is in its original box with all its factory papers. Its box, however, has been overlabeled with product code 662410. The 6 prefix indicates what we call demo status, probably a sales rep’s sample or showpiece at a trade show. The Smith & Wesson Governor revolver, writes the Factory, puts six rounds of customizable response under your control. Load with .410 2 1/2 inch shotshells, .45 ACP or .45 Colt - alone or in combination with the included moon clips - and hit your target in every situation. Each Governor is packaged with Two 6 round and three 2 round moon clips for use with .45 ACP. Type is traditional double and single action revolver, capacity 6 rounds of .45 Colt, .45 ACP, or .410 gauge 2 1/2 inch shotshells; construction is stainless PVD cylinder; scandium alloy frame; 5 1/2 inches height; 1.75 inches width; 8 1/2 inches overall length; fixed notch frame-integral rear sight with dovetailed Tritium XS style Night Front Sight; 2 3/4 inch two piece stainless interior Barrel; .375 Semi-Target Hammer and .350 Smooth Faced Combat Trigger. As the photos show, Smith & Wesson did not need to install a flame shield on the under side of the frame top strap directly above the forcing cone as they did with some of their Air Lite revolvers. Frame is modified N Size Round Butt; and Grips are Hogue Bantam finger groove combat with S&W Logos. Like any Smith & Wesson Revolver, the Governor has an internal transfer bar safety device, and is also fitted with Smith & Wesson’s patented internal lock complete with two keys. Surface detractions are minimal on the specimen, faint occasional contact streaking and cylinder rotation marking, as the photos show. It is in its original factory box with its instruction manual, clip devices, 2 keys for its internal lock, and a never executed factory registration card. We rate it as Excellent in Box, perhaps Near Mint, 90 to 95 percent vicinity by our estimate. Photos, at any rate, ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
