Here are Mec-Gar’s excellent magazines to fit the Beretta 84 Cheetah Series pistols chambered in .380 ACP caliber. They also fit Browning BDA 380 pistols, but will not engage the magazine safety on the Brownings. Anyone with a BDA who wants their mag safety feature preserved should use Mec-Gar number MGBRBDA13B, and we usually have those for the same price. Manufacturer is Mec-Gar s.r.l. of Gussago, Italy; importer and warrantor is Mec-Gar USA of Meriden, CT. Mec-Gar, of course, manufactures all the factory magazines that issue with the pistols themselves. Construction is heat treated carbon steel body and spring stop, music wire spring, and high impact tough lubed polymer floorplate and cartridge follower. Backs are welded and smooth milled, with bright blue finish. Body has three round count ports on its left side. Each magazine holds 13 rounds of .380 ACP caliber ammunition. They will fit, and work correctly in, any 84 Beretta, or any Browning BDA without engaging the Browning’s magazine safety. They will fit a Beretta 81 in .32 ACP, but feeding is not always reliable with the smaller cartridge. They can be adapted to older Bersa 85s, but professional gunsmithing will be required.
