This is the best figured walnut I have seen on a winchester unless it was special ordered. High gloss blue with groved receiver and winchester butt plate. The stock is 99% with two very small dents 1/8" or less top left side near butt plate. Bluing is 99% as well but, has two specks where blue was rubbed about 1/16" and 1/8" each left side of frame and several very small lite scratches (from storage) on left top or receiver just below the groves (minor scratches).
