Marlin Model 1893 Rifle has a serial # C9418. This puts the date of manufactured shortly after 1904. It is a lever action 30-30 caliber. It has a 26” Round barrel, bore is in excellent condition. It has a Semi Buckhorn Rear sight - Dovetail gold post front sight. It has a standard, CASE hardened hammer, trigger, and Lever. It has a full length Tube magazine. The receiver and breech bolt areas also are Case hardened - Coverage 92%. The forend is Varnished with a steel noose cape - varnish 80%. It has an LOP of 13 ¼” over a crescent steel rifle butt plate. Varnish on stock is 90%, stock and forend exhibit numerous scratches and mars but no cracks or chips and is very sound. The gun is in excellent functional condition. Bluing on the barrel and magazine tube is 97%. The right side of the wrist, stamped into the wood about 1” to the rear of the receiver is a rack number “254”.
