Accepted Payment Methods: Returns: No Returns Description: A very unique conversion: This is an H&R (Harrington & Richardson) rifle that has been converted by the O'BRIEN RIFLE COMPANY of Las Vegas, NV) to the wildcat .17 MAGNUM cartridge. We estimate some time in the '70s or early '80s. A little jewel of a rifle. The stock is custom-made - a beautiful creation with nicely-grained walnut and contrasting fore-end. The action is richly blued with a slim tapered barrel about 18". Allover excellent condition with some cosmetic flaws: On the right side of the barrel, just forward of the action and above the bedding there are several rust blemishes - about three small areas maybe 1/2 inch by half-inch each. Bluing otherwise unmarked. (see pix) Chamber and bore are clean & bright. No marks or dings on the wood; just some very slight handling marks. This is a custom job with a rare caliber chambering - not for the beginner. Suggest you research wildcat .17 caliber cartridges on-line first... I'm NOT an expert in this area.
