At SHOT Show 2024, we discovered Suppressor Sauce at the HuxWrx booth. This new product is a two-part suppressor cleaning solution that is specifically designed for ease of cleaning monocore-type suppressors, such as their own 3-D printed designs.

However, Suppressor Sauce can be used safely with all other construction types, metals, and coatings. A safe and highly effective cleaning solution is incredibly valuable in today’s market as suppressor design becomes more complex, so I’m excited to get my hands on this new offering from HuxWrx.

The inspiration behind Suppressor Sauce stems from the practical challenge of cleaning suppressors effectively. Recognizing the limitations of existing cleaners, particularly for 22s and pistols, HuxWrx decided to create a solution that specifically addresses this need. The solution is also non-toxic and nearly odorless, so it’s safe to use around the house.

What distinguishes Suppressor Sauce from other cleaning products is its unique approach—a powder-form cleaning formula. The kit consists of Part A and Part B. Part A, a carbon cleaner in powder form, is mixed with water, and a suppressor is submerged in the mixed solution for a 2 to 3-hour soak that effectively removes carbon.

Part B is a heavy metal and particulate remover that provides a thorough cleaning with another 2 to 3-hour soak. Once the suppressor is clean, simply follow your local guidelines to dispose of the dirty solution appropriately.

An armory kit version is also being developed for those handling multiple suppressors. Designed for dealers or government entities, this version allows the cleaning of up to 20 to 40 suppressors at a time—a practical solution for those with larger quantities.

As previously mentioned, Suppressor Sauce isn’t limited to HuxWrx suppressors. Whether it’s titanium, aluminum, or different coating types like QPQ or Cerakote, it’s a versatile solution suitable for suppressors from all brands.

The anticipated release for Suppressor Sauce is around the middle of March, possibly a bit later. HuxWrx is still finalizing the packaging of the product you see in the video and photos, while still developing the armory kit. In terms of pricing, HuxWrx aims for affordability. While a specific MSRP isn’t provided yet, the commitment is to make it a cost-effective cleaning solution and is expected to be in the ballpark of $40 to $60.
