While details are still developing, it appears that disgruntled individual who murdered a television reporter and cameraman on-air Wednesday morning has posted footage of the incident on social media.
The alleged gunman, Lester L. Flanagan apparently posted body-cam footage of the fatal shooting of WBDJ reporter Alison Parker, 24, and cameraman Adam Ward, 27 to Facebook.
In the video below, which is extremely graphic so viewer discretion is advised, one can see the gunman, presumed to be Flanagan, walk up to the victims and open fire.
Reports suggest that Flanagan had a beef with the victims. Flanagan, a reporter who worked under the name Bryce Williams, worked at the station with the two victims for about a year until he was fired. It’s not clear why he was let go.
Flanagan sent a 23-page manifesto to ABC news before the shooting that may explain in detail his motives. It’s been turned over to police.
Upon being confronted by authorities late Wednesday morning, Flanagan shot himself. He is believed to be in critical condition. But stay tuned for updates.
Those may be contributing factors why he committed a double murder ,but saying no one protected this guy ?

I’m getting really emotional about the fact people are claiming this was fake because of the mere second of footage of the reporter being shot.
I’d love to get up in those people’s faces and demand to know if they have seen someone shot or if they’ve only seen movies. Bullets citizens tend to carry do not send visible evidence of impact towards the direction of the barrel. If they did, cops wouldn’t unload on individuals they hit once or twice. Clothes cover the evidence until later.
I don’t know why this bothers me so much that internet blow hards are blowing hard. But it does.
1. This lady stole his job. 2. This camera man ratted him out to get him fired. 3. Both the camera man and news girl were dating coworkers at the station. 4. HR did nothing to protect his guy, instead firing him.

No one noticed a man with a gun, he seemed to have taken a lot of time to shoot and film in the same moment, almost a full minute.
Camera man had no ability to know. Citizen being interviewed was focused on doing her PR job. Interviewer was doing her job.
I don’t care what anyone believes, a pistol being drawn by a man wearing black is difficult to spot. If he had short sleeves, it might be more easily spotted. Guns don’t look like guns from the barrel end. He had a cell phone up at eye level.
More than enough evidence, based on multiple angles, to explain why everyone acted the at they did during that minute.
