Three-gun competitions are a great way to learn new skills, connect with other gun owners, and have fun. But participating can be expensive. It’s easy to drop $1,000+ on a shotgun alone, especially if you’re looking for custom features like an enhanced loading port and an integral Picatinny rail.
Turkish firearms manufacturer GiRSAN and their American importer, European American Armory Corporation (EAA), are looking to make 3-Gun more accessible to competitors on a budget. EAA introduced at SHOT Show 2020 the MC312 Sport, a feature-rich semi-auto 12GA shotgun designed with 3-Gun competitions in mind.
The best part? The suggested retail price is only $602, which should put the street price for these shotguns at well under $600.
We caught up with EAA reps at their SHOT Show booth, and they told us the MC312 Sport can stack up against the legendary 3-Gun shotguns from Benelli, which easily run over $2,000. That might be a stretch, but the MC312 does come standard with all the bells and whistles.
Along with an enhanced loading port to facilitate quad loading, the MC312 comes with an integral Picatinny rail machined into the receiver and a red dot optic. There’s no word on who manufactures the optic, but it does come with a 1-year warranty, and the rail makes it easy to swap out for your preferred red dot.
If you’re not partial to optics, the red dot can also be removed in favor of the fiber optic front sight.

The barrel measures 24 inches, and the rotating bolt inertia action system accepts both 2.75” and 3” 12GA shells. The red mag tube follower provides visual feedback to indicate an empty chamber, and the gun comes standard with five choke tubes.
The pistol grip enhances user control, the raised vent rib allows the user to maintain a head-up profile for faster swing, and the rubber butt pad helps control felt recoil from the 12GA inertia-driven action.
The MC312 Sport measures 46 inches in overall length with a 14.25-inch length of pull. It weighs about 7 pounds unloaded.
Only a full review will be able to confirm the MC312 Sport’s reliability and performance, but the original MC312 was well-received and the Sport comes with a limited lifetime warranty.

I wish I had 3 gun tournament close by. And the time to go. I may still purchase this shotgun. I LOVE the price. As far as reliability I’m sure it’s a contender. So if I do find a close tournament & find the time I will be one step ahead.
