ODIN Works teased a prototype bipod that looked promising.

ODIN Works is a manufacturing facility in Boise, Idaho that makes guns and gear to suit needs that are not filled by other companies.

ODIN Works employees are competitive shooters that know the industry. Their proud slogan is, “Forward with purpose,” emphasizing a desire to create great products that are needed and used by avid shooters.

This year at SHOT Show, ODIN Works gave us a look at two new products. One is the ARCA Bag, and the other is an unnamed bipod that is still in the prototype stage.

ARCA Bag

The ARCA Bag is a simple, yet functional new product from ODIN Works this year. As implied, the ARCA Bag is a shooting bag that mounts to the forend of your rifle via an ARCA rail and clamp.

The bag comes with fill in it and features a durable, textured bottom for longevity and grip. The clamp that holds the bag system to the rifle’s ARCA rail has a QD lever with three positions: locked, sliding, and loose for removal.

The ARCA Bag consists of an ARCA mount, plate, and bag that is attached via velcro straps.

This bag can rotate 90 degrees so that it is oriented to be either long or wide. If for some reason, you don’t fancy the clamp that comes on the ARCA Bag, it can be changed out for other clamps.

For a secure fit, the bag that comes with this system attaches to the plate via velcro straps. ODIN Works’ price on the ARCA Bag is $149.00 and it will be available for purchase in March of this year.

Prototype Bipod

ODIN Works didn’t disappoint this year at SHOT Show with their brand-new bipod that will certainly rival the industry leaders at a lower price point. The version we played with was a true prototype with no official name or price point.

This bipod looks and functions similarly to the well-known Ckye Pod, but does not pan. The bipod will swivel to allow for adjustment to cant the rifle. Tension can be adjusted to make this easier or harder, or it can be locked into place.

The legs extend, are spring loaded, and can use any Atlas bipod feet on the market. They also splay outwards for more width and stability. This same outward splaying action will allow the shooter to get lower for situations that demand it.

Also, like most bipods, the legs move forwards or backward but can be stored in either direction. Heads that attach to either ARCA or Picatinny will be available to suit your preference. Eventually, ODIN Works will also offer different legs to suit your needs.
