From the factory, the Havak HIT looks to provide the best bang for your buck and the Pro version takes that even a step further. This rifle is feature-rich and quite adaptable. It is designed to be the “standard production custom gun you have been waiting for.”
Similar to the HIT, the Havak HIT Pro still has the same silky-smooth action, folding-fully adjustable stock, dust cover, 20-MOA integrated rail, recoil lug, extended thread tenon, and flat bottom.
One of the coolest features of this lineup of rifles is its capacity for a toolless bolt swap, and quick change barrel system that requires only one screwdriver. The rifle also features a folding stock which makes transportation through the mountains much easier.
The Havak HIT Pro comes with an upgraded Timney trigger which is adjustable from 2 lbs down to a mere 8oz. Featuring an ATC compensator, this rifle has a significantly reduced recoil leading to better recoil management and quicker follow-up shots.
Featuring a full-length ARCA rail system that runs the entire length of the forend of the chassis, the HIT Pro is ready to compete.
The chassis is compatible with the Seekins Precision HIT NVM front rail for those who would like to mount night vision or thermal to the weapon system.
One Piece Modular Scope Mount
Seekins also teased a new one-piece mount they have been working on. The mount utilizes a patented S-lock to take up space between the Picatinny rail to always keep it tight between the slots.
The one-piece base also supposedly has a return to zero of just a couple of tenths from the initial 700-round test performed before the show.
While the one-piece base looks great, the top scope rings are where the modularity happens. Drilled and tapped at multiple positions, users will have the ability to mount a diving board on top for ballistic calculators or red dots, as well as 45-degree positions for bubble levels or offset red dots.
These upper rings will be backward compatible with all of Seekins existing lower rings.
The Seekins Precision Havak HIT Pro is chambered in 6MM GT, 6MM Creedmoor, 6.5MM Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, and 308 Winchester. It is available now with an MSRP of $2,400.
While the scope mount is currently just a teaser with no specified availability date, this feature-packed option will have an MSRP of around $395 fully kitted out with the diving board and bubble level. Seekins also provides a no-questions-asked lifetime warranty to top it all off.
