Those of you who keep up with industry trends already know the Tac-Con name. The 3MR Trigger caused a tremendous stir in 2014. This year, they’ve released their Raptor AK Trigger, which does for the AK platform what the 3MR did for the AR rifles. And now they’re releasing the 241, which is an AR trigger with three modes, safe, fast, and two-stage.

I got to shoot the 241 back in the fall, when it was still in development, and it does just what it says it does. You can run fast, and put multiple rounds on close targets, and then take long range shots with precision accuracy thanks to the incredibly light pull on the two-stage mode. They’re having a sale on preorders of the 241. They start shipping May 8!

The real reason why I’m writing this now is to say that Tac-Con is having a sale that ends imminently. The 3MR is now $75 off. Many of the critics of the 3MR are critical of the price. I’ve got one in my AR. My honest opinion of the 3MR is still very high. The middle mode is a crisp 4.5 pound semi-automatic pull. The fast mode is a positive reset that flies. I don’t use that much, but I like having it.

Get on it. If you’ve wanted one, but have held off because of price, this may be as good as it gets.
