Kriss USA, the company behind the futuristic-looking Vector submachine gun, just announced a semi-automatic rimfire version for the American market. Kriss plans to demonstrate the new Vector at the 2020 SHOT Show later this month.
“We are very excited to add .22 Long Rifle to the list of calibers that the Vector is now chambered,” said Tim Seargeant, Manager of Marketing for Kriss. “The release of the Vector .22 LR is an important milestone in the development of the Vector platform by making it more accessible to shooters of all skill levels and budget-minded consumers.”
The new Vectors are chambered for .22 Long Rifle and will come in pistol “Vector SDP-SB” and carbine “Vector CRB” models. Additionally, Kriss will offer both the pistol and carbine versions with a standard black finish, as well as in flat dark earth and alpine white.
The carbine options feature a 16-inch threaded barrel, an extended modular M-Lok forend and an M4 stock extension with a 6-position telescoping stock. The pistol version has a 6.5-inch threaded barrel, a pistol tube extension and an SB Tactical stabilizing brace.
Both versions come standard with a full-length flattop rail and include flip-up iron sights as well as one 10-round magazine. According to Kriss, the magazines are proprietary though 30-round mags will also be available.
The MSRP for these new Vectors will start at $649, making them the most affordable Vectors yet. Real-world and online pricing for Kriss hardware is often less than MSRP, but as always with hot new products, the initial demand may keep prices high at first.

The innovative design of the Vector has been turning heads for years, but the price and practicality of these Kriss carbines and pistols have been a limiting factor for many. Now with a low price and simple linear blowback action, the Vector in .22 LR is going to get a lot more popular.
Whether you’re looking for a low-cost entry into the Vector game or just want a semi rimfire pistol or carbine with a tactical look and feel the rimfire Vector might just do the trick. Since day one the Vector has been all about doing things differently and the .22 models are no different.
Of course, Kriss will continue to offer Vector rifles and pistols in centerfire versions as well. The company has a wide range of Vector guns chambered for 9mm Luger, 40 S&W and .45 ACP as well as .357 SIG and 10mm Auto. The suggested retail price for the centerfire models starts at $1,349.

Elvis has left the building!!!! Looks like the gun business has gone the way of the dodo bird. This stuff [IMO] is nothing for the sensible shooter, is more like a poop popper thing a ma jig from one of those “get ya killed” video pacifiers. All these manufactures are catering to all them “see the light liberals” that finally figured out 911 and the lawmakers ain’t gona cut when those “mistreated, under-Privileged folks” come calling. No redneck such as I would ever pay that kind of $$$ or that …..thing.
Guess I’ll just stick with my 10/22 and 25 round mags. My rifle cost $199. This thing is a joke at that price.
“Budget minded consumers ” ? $650 and only includes one 10 rd mag ? At least it includes sights… ( makes me laugh ) that price needs to include 3-4 mags greater than 10 rds. AND a decent red dot optic for that price .
