RFK Jr.: Biden Is Bigger Threat to Democracy

News Wire This Week

Estimated reading time: 2 minutes

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. made a bold claim this week. He says one of the major parties’ presumptive nominees threatens American democracy.

Surprisingly for some, he points to President Biden.

Kennedy argues Biden is a greater threat to democracy than President Trump. He believes Biden has made an unprecedented moves in American politics.

According to Kennedy, Biden is the first president to use federal agencies to censor political speech and silence opponents.

In a CNN interview, Kennedy detailed his allegations. He explained how Biden influenced social media platforms to temporarily ban him.

“Listen, I make the argument that President Biden is a much worse threat to democracy. And the reason for that is President Biden is the first candidate and the first president in history to have used the federal agencies to censor political speech or censor his opponent,” he explained.

“You know, I can say that because I just won a case, a federal court of appeals now before the Supreme Court,” he continued.

“It shows that he started censoring not just me, 37 hours after he took the oath of office. He was censoring me. No president in the country has ever done that. The greatest threat to democracy is not somebody who questions election returns, but a president united to use the power of his office to force social media companies like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter to open a portal and give access to a portal to the FBI, CIA, the IRS, the NIH, to censor his political critics, as I implied,” said RFK Jr.

“He’s the first president in history to use his power over the Secret Service to deny Secret Service protection to one of his political opponents. For a political reason, weaponizing a federal agency. Those are really critical threats,” he added.

What do you make. of RFK Jr.’s comments?

Be very careful if you think RFK Jr. is a good choice over Biden. Like all democraps that talk a conservative line, once in power, he will become a 100% democrap. None of us in any lifetime has had a Congress that was veto proof conservative, with a conservative president, I did not say Republican, I said conservative, which in many cases are two different things. You and I may be up to speed on all the truth behind the accusations about Trump, the Executive orders against everything the country stands for, the plans for forced acceptance of EV’s based on political reasons not based in any scientific fact, and so many things we read about in the MSM that we know is PC, woke, or outright lies, but, most of the country does not. They believe the MSM, will continue to pull the democrap lever or vote multiple times as they did in 2020. Just don’t vote Trump, make sure you vote for every conservative, and don’t get massaged by the message of the democraps, especially you union folks. You do know that union places have been firing US citizens, veterans, legally immigrants that have been here for decades, and replacing them with illegals, don’t you?

Since Guns America provided no context or information regarding RFK Jr’s comments, I’ll do it.

During Covid, Kennedy was temporarily banned from Instagram for spreading misinformation about covid. A non-profit organization he runs was also banned from several social media platforms for the same reason.

So that’s what he’s talking about: decisions by private companies to prevent ignorant hogswallop from being spread about covid and vaccines.

Now recall for a moment that Biden doesn’t run Instagram or any other social media platform. Recall also that social media companies may choose to limit speech on their platforms without violating the first amendment of the Constitution. That was true before Biden, and it’ll be true after Biden.

So in a nutshell a bloviating blowhard is griping about getting temporarily banned for spewing BS and lies. He’s just tarting up his grievances into something he thinks will get traction.

He’s also ignoring the other guy. You know the one that fomented a riot to try and overturn the election he lost.

RFK Jr is ridiculous man, saying ridiculous things.

RFK Jr is absolutely correct about that — not only about that, but on many issues. For me, Biden and Trump are both equally unacceptable, albeit for different reasons. I did not vote for Trump in 2016; that year I voted Libertarian for POTUS/VPOTUS while voting for mostly Republicans and some Libertarians in the down-ballot contests. I did (I’m ashamed to admit) vote for Trump for re-election in 2020, albeit reluctantly and holding my nose (literally holding my nose in the voting booth). I will NOT do that again. I am DONE voting for the supposed “lesser of two evils.” The GOP should have nominated FL Governor Ron DeSantis if they really cared about uniting the party, attracting the votes of independents and libertarian leaning swing voters, and going on to win the White House and run the table in congressional races this Fall. They failed to do that, and that failure may very likely prove to have been a colossal blunder, a gargantuan error in judgement — not only for the GOP, but for the nation. At this point, I think RFK Jr is probably our only hope this election cycle to heal our gravely damaged country. Voting for another arrogant narcissist like Trump is NOT the answer. My vote is RFK Jr for POTUS in the general election this November. It is high time to stop doing the same damn stupid things over and over again while expecting different results.

Here is a quote supposedly made by General George Patton from a book written by Stuart Chase, “The Proper Study of Mankind.”

‘Politicians are the lowest form of life on earth. Liberal Democrats are the lowest form of politicians.’
    supposedly -George Patton

Even if the quote is a fabrication, I’m preety sure Patton would agree with the sentiment.

Will Rogers had a good one. Someone asked if he belonged to an organised political party. He responded no, he was a Democrat.

Say what you will about the priorities of the two parties but the Democrat Congressional caucus is very well organised and effective, whereas the Republicans are ready to vacate the speakership again and might manage to lose the majority even before November. Most of the time, modern politics feels like a race between the two sides to see who can out-stupid each other but somehow it always seems that (establishment) Republicans manage to win that race in a clutch.

I remember when I was a Marine I would hear the saying “God, Country, Family and Corps.” Maybe you could debate on the order of last three but the values are pretty solid and alien to most democrats.

Most democrats now place their political party above all else, including all 4 of those values above. We see the democrats destroying the country with illegal immigration so the Country will become a one party system.

Here we have several younger members of the Kennedy clan dedouncing Jr. to back a most horrible man. These Kennedy members are actively supporting the political party that committed Regicide twice against their own family.

  • Blue Dog (he/him) April 2, 2024, 7:33 pm

I really like RFKJr but he’s a little off-base here. I don’t remember Joe Biden telling a nation-wide cadre of insurrectionists loyal to him to stand down and stand by on national tv.

    • Kane April 3, 2024, 1:02 pm

Oh, you probably missed where Kamala Harris tweeted for people to support the bond (MFF) for the antifa “insurrectionists” and the fake POTUS (genuine POS) had at least 13 staff members contribute to the fund. Try NOT to depend so heavily on the fake news from facebook.

      • John Boaze April 5, 2024, 4:36 pm

When did antifa storm the capital?

        • Kane April 6, 2024, 11:03 pm

So you agree that most Democrats place party above “God, Country and family” and are trying to destroy the country to advance a one party system and the Democrats committed Regicide by killing RFK and JFK. The only issue you dispute is whether antifa infiltrated on J6?

He did tell law abiding Americans that owning guns was pointless because he was willing to use F-16s against them, though.
