Seekins Precision's New Chassis Rifle: The Hit - SHOT Show 2020
The Hit is a switch-barrel chassis rifle from Seekins Precision, featuring their Havak action.

Seekins Precision is best known for their quality ARs and AR parts, but recently they got into the bolt action rifle game. Here, they quickly proved their expertise in firearms, cranking out super accurate and high-quality factory guns. Now, Seekins is expanding their offering yet again to include their very own complete chassis rifle system known as The Hit.

Watch the video to learn about Seekins SP15 which is an all billet AR-15 for $925.

This rifle features the proven Havak Action, but with a twist.

The Hit is kitted out with top quality products, including a Timney trigger, Ergo grip, and Seekins’ parts.

There is a single bolt on the front of the action that keeps tension on the barrel. If you loosen this, you can swap barrels without removing the chassis, optic, or checking headspace. This is made even easier by wrench flats that are machined into the muzzle end of the barrel. This neat feature will allow you to convert The Hit from a competition-ready rifle to play the role of a hunting rifle with minimal effort and tools.

The set screw for swapping the barrel is located in the side of the optic rail.

The Hit was designed specifically for law enforcement and competition shooters alike. With the switch barrel capabilities, it can be used in many applications optimally.

The Hit’s chassis is made from billet 7075 T6 aluminum and features carbon fiber inlays to further reduce the weight of the system. The forend has M-LOK slots and is compatible with Seekins’ MRAS M-LOK system (Arca Swiss & M-LOK).

The forend contains M-LOK attachment points as well as flush cup attachments.

The Hit’s chassis is extremely customizable. It has an adjustable LOP and cheek riser that locks down on a lever system. This lever can be lifted with the case head of a cartridge and the tightness of them is user-adjustable. On top of this, the buttstock folds to the right at the press of a button. Everything felt extremely tight and well made.
