In response to growing demand, SIG SAUER today unveiled the P320-XTEN COMP in 10mm.
This is the first compact model in the P320-XTEN series, offering a blend of power suitable for the backcountry without compromising on recoil control.

“The P320-XTEN COMP answers the call of enthusiasts for a 10mm carry size handgun fully optimized for hunters, fishermen, and hikers. Beginning with the new carry size 10mm/45 ACP grip module, the P320-XTEN is a smaller package for all-around easier backcountry carry,” said Tom Taylor, Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President Commercial Sales, SIG SAUER, Inc.

Noteworthy features of the P320-XTEN COMP include:
- Striker-fired system chambered in 10mm AUTO.
- A polymer XSERIES grip module designed for 10mm / 45 AUTO.
- A Nitron-finished slide that includes an integrated expansion chamber to manage recoil, along with front and rear serrations.
- A PRO Optic-Ready footprint and XRAY3 Day/Night sights.
- A flat XSERIES trigger with a sharp 90-degree break.
- The package includes two 15-round steel magazines.
- Compatibility with the SIG SAUER Electro-Optics ROMOE2 and ROMEO-X Pro red dot sights.

I was hoping to see them finally bring the full size X10 out with a metal AXG style frame like my 9mm AXG PRO has. When I woods carry on side by side trips with bear, cougar and wolves around I don’t care if my woods gun is big. A. I’m open carrying in the wilderness anyway because there’s nobody out there to see it and B. I want that 5 inches or more of barrel for the velocity. I don’t care to have a 3.8 compact. I’ll stick with my full size X10 and just hope eventually they will offer a metal AXG frame for sale.
