I am both an RN and an Army Vet. I don’t consider myself any more a hero as a nurse than as a combat medic. I’m grateful for the discount and know several of the nurses in my unit are too. Not all nurses were offered huge paychecks while dealing with Covid-19.

Yes, my wife is an RN. We live in NJ. They offered her $5,000 a week to work in the hospitals with COVID-19 patients. Not sure why the company thinks that giving medical personnel a discount on gun accessories is a way to say “thanks” to a group that traditionally is adverse to firearms – why not give it to law enforcement?

How about giving Law Enforcement the 40% discount as we are 24/7 365 in the front lines fighting crime?

It’s a nice gesture but calling them a hero especially from a veteran owned company is a little cringe worthy in my opinion.
It’s like calling LOGCAP civilian contractors hero’s for going overseas. Great marketing ploy, tap into the only group that’s really making any money in the US right now!
I have a friend that is what they consider a “hero” she’s an RN. They offered her $7000.00 a week, flight, hotel and meals to go to NYC, I agree with the dentist that commented on here.

Dentists…….have not see ONE that didn’t cut and run. Would not even see emergency patients (my daughter). More concerned about themselves than their patients. But…..THANK YOU VORTEX!! BTW, I’ve had to return 2 of 4 scopes I’ve purchased from them for overhaul. At least they stand behind their warranty.

From one healthcare professional to another – I agree dds should be included, the “most risk” statement is inaccurate. You are at a high risk, but not “most.” Thanks for hanging in there regardless.

You didnt include Dentist in the Vortex give a way. We happen to be at the most risk in treating patients. As a matter of fact I was infected by one of my patients. gave my wife the disease, causing much suffering. Luckily, we both recovered but we both still have problems from being ill. People forget that dental emergencies become life threatening quickly if not treated. You may want to rethink who you include in your program.
