Will NEVER understand how/why (although they try explaining it away), it ‘RATES’ high in So and So’s “Top Ten” rifles of all time. This rifle, the M14/M1A, will inevitably be MORE of an American Icon when dealt a honest hand. After all, low marks come from “service length”. It STILL serves; they conveniently leave out that fact!
