Intruder Collapses After Being Critically Injured by Dallas Homeowner

A man forced his way into the home of a Dallas, Texas, resident Thursday morning, only to scurry away after being shot by the homeowner.

Police said the suspect entered the home at around 8 a.m. The homeowner responded by shooting the intruder twice, which sent the would-be robber running for his life.

The suspect made his way out of the house and down the street a little ways before he collapsed as a result of the injury. He was transported to Baylor University Medical Center were he was reported to be in critical condition.

Stay alert. Stay armed. Practice. The police will only show up after your dead.
