A Michigan homeowner shot and killed an intruder earlier this week after the suspect allegedly broke into two homes.

Intruder Breaks Into Two Homes

At around 2 a.m. Monday morning, the intruder, who appeared to be intoxicated, broke into an apartment. The small apartment was attached to a main home.

The 38-year-old intruder began by banging on a window of the apartment, according to WZZM13. Once he had entered the establishment, he reportedly assaulted the tenant.

He then attempted to break into the main home. This is when the homeowner shot him.

Emergency personnel arrived at the scene and pronounced the intruder dead. According to MLive, his identity has not been released to the public.

No information has been released on the homeowner or the tenant. The investigation continues, but no charges have yet been announced.

Intruders Don’t Often Die During the Act

A police officer, Lt. Austin Aamodt, indicated that this type of situation is rare.

“It’s not something that’s been on our radar as an uptick or anything like that,” he said.

He also explained that when break-ins do occur, the suspect generally survives the event.

“They’re breaking into the garage that’s attached or something like that,” Aamodt told WZZM13, “ rather than into the main dwelling or living space.”

According to the officer, homeowners often are not aware their home is being broken into.

The police are looking through Ring cameras, hoping to find surveillance footage as evidence.

Michigan Self Defense Laws

In the meantime, Michigan has two self-defense laws called the “Castle Doctrine” and “Stand Your Ground.”

An article from WWMT explains the application of these two laws. “Michigan’s self-defense laws are designed to protect people not property.”

The Castle Doctrine gives homeowners a right to defend themselves and their families on their property.

The Stand Your Ground law gives gun owners the right to shoot if they reasonable fear imminent death or great bodily harm in any place they can lawfully bear arms. Without this law, you are required to attempt to flee before you can use force.

Both of these laws may apply to this fatal shooting. The homeowner should be able to rest easily knowing that he did his best to defend himself and anyone else in those two homes.

Quote…The homeowner should be able to rest easily”…until the Mama of the deceased cretin open a civil court case against the homeowner, which will likely cost in excess of $15K before it reaches trial, after which will be another $50K+ in the defense of the action. If that defense is lost at trial, goodbye home, cars, etc.

Of course, the laws should apply. However, with leftist judges out there who are anti-Human and all for the criminal, and who also hold our USA Constitution and , other supporting laws in contempt (THEY- these judges) will make their own laws and attack the victims in this case—as they consistently do. The leftist and fascist judges always do these un-Constitutional acts, and overstep their bounds, trying to be the legislative as well as judicial. There is a balance of power, that has obvious boundaries, which much of the Judicial branch continuously abuses and violates. They should themselves be imprisoned for such abuses, because they are breaking the law. These victims that were violated by the obvious criminal, will again be violated by the judge and the DA, and they will have to go through a great deal more grief and abuse, and they will have to hire more lawyers at their expense as well to fight a crooked system, that the leftist dems have put in place. Shakespeare had it right: “…kill all the lawyers…” , who are the true criminals.
