Old Saybrook, CT (January, 2021) – For 2021, Traditions® introduces the Pursuit™ XT – the next generation of the popular Pursuit series.
The Pursuit™ XT is outfitted with a VAPR™ twist barrel which has a 1:24” twist. This faster twist rate will better stabilize bullets, increase accuracy, and also expand the range of bullet options that can be shot out of this muzzleloader.
Additionally, the Pursuit™ XT is has been upgraded to include the Elite XT™ trigger system. This system has a precise and accurate trigger pull, along with a rebounding hammer and manual cross block trigger safety.

This mid-level muzzleloader is packed with many additional features including a 26” Chromoly steel barrel, Premium CeraKot Finish, Dual Safety System, Accelerator Breech Plug™ which removes by hand and allows for use of loose or pelletized powder, Speed Load System, and more. The Pursuit™ XT will be available in many configurations for 2021 including Veil Wideland camo, Realtree Edge camo, Mossy Oak Break Up Country camo, and black as well as scoped and non-scoped versions. For those hunters in Idaho and Oregon, there will also be Traditions® Pursuit™ XT Northwest Magnum which will fit the requirements of those states which includes a musket ignition, open breech, and open sights.
