Overview

Nordic Components has long been known for high-quality aftermarket parts. After years of supplying other manufacturers, and regular consumers, recently they have decided to launch complete weapons sales. They have offerings in 5.56 and .308, but what grabbed my attention was the new Pistol Caliber Carbine.

Multi-Mag Pistol-Caliber AR: Nordic Components PCC 9mm—SHOT Show 2017.

Overview

The NCPCC, or Nordic Components Pistol Caliber Carbine, is the coolest 9mm carbine I have seen. It sports standard AR furniture, which you can change out if you like, and a mil-spec trigger group. That also means you can put your favorite AR trigger in; no need to look for a sub gun special. By far the selling point though, in my opinion, is the innovative magazine system.

Multi-Mag Pistol-Caliber AR: Nordic Components PCC 9mm—SHOT Show 2017.The magazine has long been the weakness of the PCC, all the way back to the Colt Commando. Nordic fixed this by allowing their carbine to take Glock magazines. Or M&P. Or Beretta. All in the same gun. The lower receiver is modular, and the magazine well is removable with one pin. This allows you a variety of options. You can run the same magazines in your PCC and sidearm. You can buy whatever high-capacity magazines are cheapest or most available in your area. And you can take advantage of the dazzling array of magazine extension available for those popular magazines. If you are a Glock guy, but become an M&P guy in the future, your PCC only needs a minor change to support that. This is a fantastic new gun, and I can’t wait to do a full review.

Price & Availability

Is this a gas impingement system or blowback? Will it handle all ammo with and without suppressor?

Okay! Another mag we’ll is $149.00 what about different calibers! So,if your using 9mm block mags and want to go to .45 you’ll need mag well and upper so what’s the cost of upper ?

You won’t need a different upper however you will need a different bolt carrier and barrel in order to change calibers.
